Hangzhou's Ancient Rhythms: A Cultural Expedition
This program is designed to offer a comprehensive exploration of Hangzhou's past, present, and future, providing a well-rounded experience that will leave you with a profound impression for the city's rich cultural heritage and dynamic modern life. Here are some highlights:
1. World Cultural Heritage Sites. Hangzhou is home to three world cultural heritage sites-the West Lake Cultural Landscape of Hangzhou, the Grand Canal, and the Archaeological Ruins of Liangzhu City. They not only showcase Hangzhou's significance but also contribute to a global understanding of human history and the development of human settlements.
2. The Tea Culture of Hangzhou. Known as the heart of tea culture, Hangzhou is celebrated for its Longjing Tea, prized for its exquisite taste and cultural significance. At the Longjing Tea Garden, you have a unique opportunity to delve into the world of tea. Guided by distinguished expert—the Paris Olympic Games Intangible Cultural Heritage Tea Culture Envoy and the Hangzhou Asian Games Bilingual Tea Master—you will embark on a journey through the art of tea.
3. Digital Development in Hangzhou: As a leading city in digital innovation, the camp offers tours to the Digital Culture Innovation Base, Archaeology Innovation and Research Center, and Intelligence Culture Research Center, among others, showcasing how technology is shaping the city's cultural and intellectual landscape.

Eligibility Requirements:
1.Full-time students currently registered at universities in the United States, including undergraduate, graduate, and PhD students.
2.Non-Chinese citizens and interested in Chinese culture
3.Age between 18 to 28
4.No criminal record
Fee:
On-campus student apartment is provided. Students are responsible for their own cost in China, visa application, international travel expenses and insurance.
