The inaugural SAE 2023 International Conference on Low-Altitude Aircraft and Urban Smart Stereoscopic Traffic took place in Hangzhou on October 20-21, 2023, attracting over 300 experts from fields like aviation, smart vehicles, and intelligent traffic. The event focused on eight key areas, including flight control, intelligent decision-making, and low-altitude communication.
Si Rongxi, a representative from HZCU, emphasized the college's commitment to high-quality education and innovation. Xu Bingliang from SAE International highlighted the potential of low-altitude aircraft in revolutionizing urban transportation for greater efficiency and sustainability.
The conference showcased the launch of a concept verification center and the presentation of academic papers. Forty-seven papers passed peer review and will be published by SAE International. Seven exceptional papers will feature in the SAE journal "Advances and Current Practices in Mobility." The event aimed to advance academic research, encourage innovation, and envision the future of urban transportation.
