On April 11th, Alister Jones, Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the University of Waikato, and Mulan, Associate Director of Global Programmes of the University of Waikato, visited Hangzhou City University. HZCU Executive Vice President Yang Bo and Vice President Jin Tao met the delegation.
Yang Bo, on behalf of HZCU, expressed a warm welcome to Alister Jones and his delegation, and expressed her gratitude to the University of Waikato for its long-term support to the University of Waikato Joint Institute at Hangzhou City University. She pointed out that since the establishment of the cooperation relationship, the two universities have achieved remarkable results in running the joint institute and won a good social reputation. It is hoped that the two sides can further expand the cooperation areas, enrich the connotation of cooperation, carry out in-depth cooperation in student exchange, joint postgraduate training, scientific research and other fields, and further tighten the ties of exchange and cooperation.
Alister Jones thanked HZCU for its trust and support for the cooperation relationship between the two universities. He pointed out that the two universities have a deep foundation for cooperation in various disciplines. Hoping that on the basis of more than 20 years of cooperation, both sides will continue to play their advantages, further deepen exchange and cooperation, explore more areas and higher levels of cooperation, and promote the common development of the relevant disciplines of the two universities.
