On April 30th, Hangzhou City University, Loma Linda University Health, U.S.A., and Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital, affiliated with Zhejiang University School of Medicine signed the second round of the Memorandum of Understanding. This further advances the construction of the International Institute for Health Sciences.
The MoU was signed by Cai Xiujun, President of Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital, affiliated with Zhejiang University School of Medicine, Richard Hart, President of Loma Linda University Health, and Yang Bo, Executive Vice President.
According to the MoU, the three parties will leverage their respective strengths to continuously deepen and expand new areas of cooperation, and promote the in-depth integration of industry, academia, and research. They will collaborate comprehensively across multiple domains with high effectiveness in areas such as curriculum design and development, academic exchanges, internship base construction, and faculty training. The aim is to cultivate new types of medical talents, create a model of cooperation, and achieve mutual benefits and win-win outcomes.
Yang Bo presented Richard Hart with a silk tapestry depicting the panoramic view of West Lake and a book titled "One Hundred Poems on West Lake Through the Ages" edited by HZCU faculty members.
